Dimensions: 1-5/8" Long x 1/2" Wide (head) with a 5/16" Diameter Tenon. Tenon length 1-9/16".
Assembly Tip: To install this axle peg, drill a 5/16" hole then put the axle peg thru the wheel; then dip the axle peg tip (already through the wheel) into some glue (not the whole thing), taking care that no glue touches the wheel itself, so that the wheel can turn! This axle peg fits
wood wheels with a 3/8" hole, but may have a little wobble to it. We call this a "toy fit". For a more precise fit use our model #1004A or #1004B Axle pegs with an 11/32'' diameter axle shaft that doesn't wobble like the #56 Axle pegs.
